This is a superb Natural Green Obsidian from Chiapas, Mexico. The material is of top grade, showcasing an intense gem-green color with 90% flawless clarity. This color and quality of volcanic natural glass is among the rarest and most prized. Historically, green obsidian was used to craft extremely sharp knives for human sacrifices and other weapons of warfare.

These fascinating specimens are split limestone pieces from the renowned lagerstätte at Solnhofen, Bavaria, Germany. A lagerstätte refers to a sedimentary deposit known for exceptional preservation—sometimes capturing delicate features like feathers, skin, or soft tissues. While these particular specimens do not contain fossils, they showcase stunning manganese dendrites: branching crystal formations that resemble tree-like or fern-like structures.

Manganese dendrites are not biological in origin, though their appearance often leads them to be mistaken for fossilized plants. Their intricate, natural patterns can evoke imagery of ferns, seaweed, or abstract landscapes—each formation uniquely beautiful and reminiscent of nature’s artistry.

A magnificent large block of Hyaline/Amethyst quartz from the Ambolo quartz mine, Marososona, Antsirabe II District, Vakinankaratra, Madagascar. This unique piece also showcases a small Amethyst geode on one of its sides and is completely translucent. The polishing work was done by local artisans. It's rare to come across a piece like this, weighing nearly 50 kg.

Microcline is an important igneous rock-forming tectosilicate mineral. It is a potassium-rich alkali feldspar. It is common in granite and pegmatites. Microcline forms during slow cooling of orthoclase. Microcline may be clear, white, pale-yellow, brick-red, or green; it is generally characterized by cross-hatch twinning that forms as a result of the transformation of monoclinic orthoclase into triclinic microcline.

This specimen came from Madagascar and have a unique coffee and milk colour.  The polishing work is made by local people.
