This non venomous constrictor is the smallest among African pythons, reaching a maximum length of 182 cm. The name 'ball python' is derived from its tendency to curl into a ball when stressed or frightened. The skeleton has been meticulously prepared to museum standards and is fully mounted in a handmade black lacquered vitrine.

This specimen originates from Ghana and comes with its CITES certificate.

Diplomystus Dentatus fish from the Paleogene, Eocene, 53.500,000 to 48.500,000 years.

An ancestor of the herring family, a very finely boned fish which is extremely difficult to prepare from the Lagerstätte varve layer of the Eocene limestones of the Green River formation 18-inch layer.

These predator fish came from the prehistoric fossil lakes. The lower Eocene deposits of Green River formation was thought to be a large freshwater lake. The calcite would be absorbed by the remains of the fish, transforming their bones into a hard mineralized deposit in the slightly softer and lighter colored limestone shales.

Mounted in a handmade brass frame that can be fixed in three different ways.

Chrysoprase is a gemstone variety of Chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline form of silica, containing small quantities of nickel. Material from Madagascar is mined in two localities: Tulear and Ambatondrazaka. This specimen was mined and polished in Tulear. Chrysoprase typically exhibits an apple-green color, but can vary to deep green. It forms underground due to metamorphic agents.

Chrysoprase is highly valued for its aesthetic properties and is often used in jewelry, accessories, art, and ornamentation. It is also popular in lithotherapy, as it can aid in healing psychological and emotional wounds, promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, and boost self-confidence.

Daldorfia Horrida crab vitrine - A truly unique crab distinguished by its pentagonal carapace in shades of brown, adorned with large rounded and pointed tubercles. It boasts unusually long claw arms with swollen palms just before the pincers. Often found encrusted with coralline algae, this specimen was retrieved from a depth of 20 meters off Davao Island in the Philippines. Presented in an exclusive handmade vitrine by One of a Kind.

Jimbacrinus Bostocki (Crinoid Fossil - Ordovician 488 million years)

This is a rare piece, mass mortality plate of Jimbacrinus bostocki crinoid fossils from Western Australia with over 8 individuals on it.

These crinoids are 3D and have a very alien appearance.

The plate is 32cm x 20cm and has been nicely prepared.

These Jimbacrinus crinoids are hard to acquire due to Australia's strict fossil export laws.

This specimen was exported legally during the 80's and was part of a collection for years before being recently re-prepared.

Gorgonocephalus - Astrospartus mediterraneus is a fantastic deep sea starfish.

These ones have been taken from a deep of 90 meters of Capo Vado, Savona Italy. It is necessary a special technique to dry and to keep it in a perfect shape, turning it a highly decorative and curious species. Sometimes they are attached to sponges and deep water corals.

This species habits until deeps of 800-900 meters.
