Millepora exaesa, also known as Fire Coral, is a species of marine hydrozoans found in tropical and subtropical oceans. Its distinctive appearance is characterized by its encrusting or branching structure, often resembling the shape of delicate, intricately textured lace. This coral species is renowned for its vibrant hues, ranging from fiery shades of red, orange, and yellow, which lend an unmistakable visual appeal to coral reef ecosystems.

Despite its name, Fire Coral is not a true coral but a hydrozoan that can deliver a painful sting upon contact, making it essential to admire from a safe distance. From Solomon Islands mounted in a black lacquered wood base.

Natural Carnelian from Madagascar – Carnelian is used as a gemstone since the antiquity and was very much prized.

Color exibits from brownish red to orange this colours is due to the iron presence during its formation. Carnelian is a chalcedony, very close to agate with a harness of seven in the Mohs scale. Carnelian doesn’t show the same type of banding as agate and the color is softer in appearence.

In the Metaphysical field, Carnelian is associated with confidence, self esteem, courage, creativity and a wide assortment of other healing properties.

Spectacular green and black eyes pattern with “swirling” colours it is a very sought piece! Kambamba Jasper, also known as Kambamba Stone, Crocodile Jasper or Green Stromatolite Jasper - due to its colour and pattern - is an extremely old stone dating back to 3 billion years ago.

Nowadays it is considered a fossil classified as a stromatolite because of the fossilised algae that created this mineral.

Kambamba is a very energizing stone wich activates our root and heart chakras, achieving an emotional balance throughout the day.

Gabbro is a phaneritic (coarse-grained), mafic intrusive igneous rock formed from the slow cooling of magnesium-rich and iron-rich magma into a holocrystalline mass deep beneath the Earth's surface.

Slow-cooling, coarse-grained gabbro is chemically equivalent to rapid-cooling, fine-grained basalt. Much of the Earth's oceanic crust is made of gabbro, formed at mid-ocean ridges. Gabbro is also found as plutons associated with continental volcanism. By rough analogy, gabbro is to basalt as granite is to rhyolite.

These superb patterned and grained specimen came from central Madagascar. The polishing work is made by local people.

Quartz can be identified by its formation of crystal points covered by small terminations pointing towards the main point which, when viewed from above look like the diamond skin of a pineapple.

A mysterious crystal, it brings light into dark places and provides enlightenment and truth to the bearer. It is a high vibration crystal but its energy is very gentle perfect for purifying and rebalancing the Heart Chakra.

Megabalanus from the Philippines is a type of barnacle, a marine crustacean belonging to the Balanidae family. What sets this Megabalanus apart is its larger and more robust size compared to other barnacle species. In terms of appearance, Megabalanus barnacles typically feature a conical or pyramid-shaped shell structure composed of overlapping plates or ribbed plates. These barnacles can be found in various marine environments, including rocky shores, coastal areas, and coral reefs.

Madagascar Copal Amber with leaves and insects in a handmade brass base.

Amber is a substance derived from resins (Fossil Resin) of trees and plants that, buried for millions of years, underwent into a fossilization process.

These resins produced by plants acted as protection against the action of bacteria and against the attack of insects that punctured the bark until reaching the interior of the trees.

Over millions of years, amber-forming organic substances ended up forming a hardened, weather-resistant resin.
