It is among the largest centipedes with a maximum length of 20 cm, this particular specimen is more than 20 cm! This centipede is an active, aggressive predator that preys on any animal it can overpower. It has been reported as apparent cause of human death.

Whiptail stingrays are a family, the Dasyatidae, of rays in the order Myliobatiformes.

An ancestor of the herring family, a very finely boned fish which is extremely difficult to prepare from the Lagerstätte varve layer of the Eocene limestones of the Green River formation 18-inch layer.

These predator fish came from the prehistoric fossil lakes. The lower Eocene deposits of Green River formation was thought to be a large freshwater lake. The calcite would be absorbed by the remains of the fish, transforming their bones into a hard mineralized deposit in the slightly softer and lighter colored limestone shales.

One story of the derivation of the common name: early naturalists collected specimens of birds and bats with shotguns. An enormous darting flyer high in the canopy was a tempting target. Firing a cloud of pellets at a "White witch" moth did not necessarily bring it down, however, because the body is small relative to the wing area.

Heulandite Crystal Cluster – This exquisite cluster showcases perfect rhombic monoclinic crystals of Heulandite in a matrix, boasting a beautiful caramel coloration. Heulandite, belonging to the Zeolite group, can manifest in various colors depending on its composition. The uppersides of the cryptic wings of the larger females are dark brown with several rows of yellow spots, a pale green pattern on the lower wings. The wing pattern of yellow spots continue across the thorax and the abdomen. This ones are females and came from Thailand.

A magnificent large block of Hyaline/Amethyst quartz from the Ambolo quartz mine, Marososona, Antsirabe II District, Vakinankaratra, Madagascar. This unique piece also showcases a small Amethyst geode on one of its sides and is completely translucent. The polishing work was done by local artisans. The Madagascar giant swallowtail, is a butterfly from the family Papilionidae. As the common name implies, it's large (12– to 14-cm wingspan) and endemic to Madagascar. It is the only species in the genus Pharmacophagus.

Chrysoprase is a gemstone variety of Chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline form of silica, containing small quantities of nickel. Material from Madagascar is mined in two localities: Tulear and Ambatondrazaka. This specimen was mined and polished in Tulear. Chrysoprase typically exhibits an apple-green color, but can vary to deep green. It forms underground due to metamorphic agents.

Chrysoprase is highly valued for its aesthetic properties and is often used in jewelry, accessories, art, and ornamentation. It is also popular in lithotherapy, as it can aid in healing psychological and emotional wounds, promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, and boost self-confidence.
