Rare Madagascar Red Agate in freeform. This distinctive form of Agate is exceptionally rare and exclusive to Madagascar. The red portion is distinguished by a dense formation of Hematite, a metallic mineral known for its red-black or steel-grey color, and is renowned for its branching appearance. The beautiful contrast of colors makes this a sought-after piece for collectors.
Beautiful red calcite that has been polished into the shape of a six sided obelisk. The base of the obelisk is flat, allowing for aesthetic presentation.
This red calcite was mined from the Norcross-Madagascar orange calcite quarry. This type of calcite likely occurred as a massive conglomerate, formed from mineral rich water solidifying following accumulation as flowstone and/or through precipitative processes.

Heulandite Crystal Cluster – This exquisite cluster showcases perfect rhombic monoclinic crystals of Heulandite in a matrix, boasting a beautiful caramel coloration. Heulandite, belonging to the Zeolite group, can manifest in various colors depending on its composition. Typically found alongside stilbite and other zeolites in the amygdaloidal cavities of basaltic volcanic rocks, as well as occasionally in gneiss and hydrothermal veins. It forms at temperatures below about 100°C, indicating shallow diagenesis in sedimentary rocks where it is present. This particular specimen hails from the Deccan Traps of the Sahyadri Mountains in Maharashtra, Poona – India. Mounted in a handmade dark brass base.

Septarias are prehistoric marine nodules of bio sedimentary origin followed by dehydration during diagenesis, which today are found as large pebbles in clay soil. The creation of a Septaria is a succession of events along millions years, they form around a core of organic matter (plant or animal).
Sediments continue to settle on the nodule, compacting it under their weight, which will flatten it and expel water, while inside microcracks begin to form, amplified by tectonic movements. It is in these shrinkage slots that over time dissolved minerals will crystallize. Its name comes from the Latin "septum" which means partition, barrier, indeed, when polishing of the nodule reveals and sublimates its elegant marbling of black calcite, millions of years that offer these sumptuous minerals, each piece of which is unique!
