Rare Madagascar Red Agate in freeform. This distinctive form of Agate is exceptionally rare and exclusive to Madagascar. The red portion is distinguished by a dense formation of Hematite, a metallic mineral known for its red-black or steel-grey color, and is renowned for its branching appearance. The beautiful contrast of colors makes this a sought-after piece for collectors.

Microcline is an important igneous rock-forming tectosilicate mineral. It is a potassium-rich alkali feldspar. It is common in granite and pegmatites. Microcline forms during slow cooling of orthoclase. Microcline may be clear, white, pale-yellow, brick-red, or green; it is generally characterized by cross-hatch twinning that forms as a result of the transformation of monoclinic orthoclase into triclinic microcline.

This specimen came from Madagascar and have a unique coffee and milk colour.  The polishing work is made by local people.

Grape Agate is the name given to a purple botryoidal form of Chalcedony found in the Batu Manakarra mining district of Indonesia's Sulawesi Island. It forms in clusters that often resemble bunches of small grapes, as seen in this beautiful specimen. Colors range from deep purple to green and is mounted in a handmade dark brass base. 

The mineral Pyrite, also known as "fool's gold," is an iron sulfide celebrated for its striking metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue, which gives it a resemblance to gold and its iconic nickname. Pyrite typically forms in cubic crystals, with rarer occurrences of cubo-octahedral and pyritohedral shapes. Some exceptional specimens with beveled edges originate from Navajún, Spain.

Since the 1980s, Pyrites from Navajún have become world-renowned for their remarkable quality and perfection. From Caresse, France - this is a sulfate mineral that contains selenium, transparent. It has perfect and easy cleavage in three directions and, depending on its orientation, a tenacity that can make it either bendable or breakable. It’s both water soluble and very heat sensitive.

Celestine, or Celestite, is a mineral composed of strontium sulfate (SrSO4). The mineral derives its name from its occasional delicate blue color. Celestine, along with the carbonate mineral strontianite, serves as a principal source of the element strontium, commonly utilized in fireworks and various metal alloys.

Celestine crystals from Madagascar are renowned for their intricate formations, including large, well-defined crystals, crystal clusters, and twinned crystals.

Highly coveted among collectors and enthusiasts, celestine is frequently incorporated into jewelry and decorative objects. Its blue hue renders it particularly desirable for use in jewelry, often serving as a substitute for blue topaz or blue sapphire.

This beautiful polished septarian egg, from Madagascar, shows its interior crystallization in contrast with exterior colors, in a brass stand.

Septarias are prehistoric marine nodules of bio sedimentary origin followed by dehydration during diagenesis, which today are found as large pebbles in clay soil. The creation of a Septarian is a succession of events along millions years, they form around a core of organic matter (plant or animal).

Sediments continue to settle on the nodule, compacting it under their weight which will flatten it and expel water, while inside micro-cracks begin to form, amplified by tectonic movements. It is in these shrinkage slots that over time dissolved minerals will crystallize.

Its name comes from the Latin "septum" which means partition, barrier, indeed, the polishing of the nodule reveals and sublimates its elegant marbling of black calcite, millions of years that offer these sumptuous minerals, each piece is unique!

Jasper is an aggregate of microgranular quartz and/or cryptocrystalline chalcedony, is an opaque variety of silica, usually red, yellow, brown or green in color and rarely blue. The common red color is due to inclusions. Jasper breaks with a smooth surface and is used for ornamentation or as a gemstone.
